This is one of the cards Hanna swapped for last week.  Unfortunately there was not a name on the card so I don't know who to give credit to.  Hanna knew it would be one that I would really like.  I love the way the fringe scissors make the flag look like it is waving.  What an awesome card to give out to Veterans on Veteran's Day!!

My dream home on the ocean . . . but only in the summer months!!

This area seems to be Art Gallery heaven so we have taken in several of those as well.

I wasn't too sure I would like the photopolymer stamps but I do love them for two step stamping like this.  This is one of the cards that was on the display boards at convention.  One tip I picked up was to place your card stock on a stamp and pierce mat so that you get a good image.

I have tried to schedule blog posts for the time I am gone so I hope I did it right.  Most of the cards that will be posted are from the display boards at convention so some will have the supplies and some won't have it.

Yesterday was a catch up day from the whirlwind of the last couple of weeks and a preparation day for the next 10 days!!  So no blog post!!

Today I hope to fit a little stamping in around packing for the next big trip.

We started the day by listening to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir at the Conference Center at Temple Square.  We did this a couple of years ago and I knew I definitely wanted to go again.

After listening to the choir we wandered around a couple of outdoor malls. They are certainly much different than the malls we have around home.

The snowflake fountain (which wasn't operational today) was originally the sight of the Olympic Torch when the Olympics were held in Salt Lake City.

We ended the day by eating at what has become one of our favorite restaurants out here . . . The Melting Pot.

It seems like we don't vary what we get from year to year . . . but it certainly is good.

We are flying out of Salt Lake City around noon and should return to Des Moines late tonight.  We have enjoyed our time in Utah but I am ready to be home again for a little while.

In January I celebrated my 10 year anniversary with Stampin' Up!.  I was lucky enough to walk across the stage and go in to the recognition room.

We came back to the hotel last night and had a pizza party, card swap, and lively Bunco game.

Today we are going to the Conference Center on Temple Square to listen to the  Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

Are you ready for another sneak peek at an upcoming product?   Check out the cute treat bag we made with the September edition of Paper Pumpkin.

Yesterday was another busy day!!  We started the day with another general session and ended the day with awards night.  I am happy to say our friend, Susie Wood, earned Founder's Circle again last night.  Founder's Circle awards the top 100 demonstrators in the company.  I can't thank Susie enough for adopting me into her group.

Today will be the last day of convention.  I can't wait to see what they have in store for us.

Are you ready for a sneak peak of a product from the Holiday mini catalog? Last night, Hanna and I and several others in our group attended an evening class where we had the opportunity to use the Simply Created Card Kit Watercolor Winter.  This kit is designed to make 20 cards . . . 5 of 4 different designs.  One of the challenges last night was to create an original card with the components of the kit.  My card is the snow day card, and Hanna's is the Silent Night card.

Hard at work on our masterpieces!!

We had a great first day of convention.  It started with a general session where we got to see the Holiday Mini catalog and let me tell you . . . my wish list for this catalog is two miles long!!!   Hanna and I took the time this afternoon to look at the display boards, check out the Paper Pumkin Booth, and to get our picture taken at one of the photo op booths.

Today we will start with another general session and then have the opportunity to stamp some make and takes.  I will try to post some of them tomorrow.

So…remember the muslin bags from yesterday?  Well, they were holding this infinity scarf that Hanna and I stamped.  We thought they turned out super cute and were really easy to do!!

Stamps:  Blended Bloom

Yesterday we spent an absolutely awesome morning at Thanksgiving Point.  We toured some botanical gardens, ate lunch and had a fabulous tour at Brick Canvas, and ended our morning looking at the Legacy room at Riverton, the Stampin' Up! home office.

Last evening we went to a Paper Pumpkin party and got a sneak peak at the September kit.  It is really cute!!!

Can't wait to see what is in store for us today!!!!!
