I do believe we have found a new home for our stamp nights.  Midtown Diner worked out marvelously…the room was big enough, the lighting was awesome, and the food was great.  Couldn't ask for more!!

Here is another one of the cards that everybody got to make last night.  I just love the hardwood background stamp.

Here is the third card I made last week using the same basic layout as the previous two posts.  It was really kind of fun making so many cards from the same layout because I had all of my measurements already down…I just got to switch up paper and stamp sets.

Here is another one of the cards I stamped the other day using basically the same layout, I just oriented the card horizontally and used different colors and stamp set.  You would never know it came from the same basic sketch.   Not sure how many people send Halloween cards, but they sure are fun to make!!

Cardstock:  Tangerine Tango, Basic Black, Whisper White,
Back to Black DSP
Ink:  Tangerine Tango, Basic Black ink pads,

Stampin' Dimensionals

It looks like the base of the card is two toned but that is just the lighting in the photo . . . it is all Tangerine Tango.

Today will be spent getting ready for Monday night as Hanna is coming home this weekend and we have a full weekend planned.  She is hoping to get a new car on Saturday.  Keep your fingers crossed that it all works out okay!!

I am definitely making the most of the extra week in between stamp nights by playing with some of the products in the Holiday Mini Catalog that I hadn't had a chance to use yet.  Once again I took a layout that I had used previously and used current product, and am really happy with the way it turned out.  Even though it is not necessarily masculine, I think this is one of the cards that everyone will be making next Monday night.

Stamping might be on my agenda this evening after a nap!!

Guy cards are typically not very easy for me to make.  Other than the fact that my ducks aren't exactly in an even row I am pretty pleased with the way this one turned out.  It is another card that everybody stamping this week got to make.

Cardstock:  Coastal Cabana, Whisper White
Ink:  Soft Suede

I am actually posting this as I am sitting in the surgery waiting room at the hospital.  My brother actually made it to surgery this time.  We had to be here at 5:30 and by 7:15 he was on his way.

Yesterday didn't go quite as I had planned . . . found out that we needed a new water heater after having very little hot water in the morning.  The good news is they came and looked at it and had the new water heater installed with in about 3 hours.  Thank you Kuenster Heating & Air LLC.  It is so awesome to have someone reliable to call and they are right there when you need them. Can't say enough good things about them.

Also found out that Godfather's where we have our stamp nights is closing this Friday so we are in search of a new place to hold stamping nights.  I have a couple of leads so stay tuned to find out the new location.

Today looks to be a very rainy day so it is a good day to stay inside and clean and maybe stamp a little this afternoon.
