Celebrating You

Today I am sharing yet another card that I made last weekend at Susie's event and that is also a Cards in the Mail card this week.   This color combination reminds me so much of spring . . . it will get here one day!!

I am really going to miss the Tailored Tag Punch when it retires in a couple of days.  Once again there are a lot of layers on this card but it is definitely worth it. I love the way that Susie layers her punched sentiments onto another punched layer.

Stamps: Celebrating You
Cardstock: Balmy Blue, Old Olive, Basic White
Designer Series Paper: You're a Peach (retiring--soldout)
Ink: Old Olive
Accessories:  Label Me Lovely Punch, Tailored Tag Punch (retiring),
Pool Party 3/8" Sheer Ribbon, Opal Rounds,
Mini Glue Dots,
Stampin' Dimensionals

We made it to Wisconsin yesterday with no trouble and spent the evening crafting and visiting.  Today looks to be a rainy and cold day up here so I can think of no better thing to do craft the day away!!

Every day is a gift . . . make the most of the gift you have been given today!!

Happy Stamping!!

On The Horizon

Today I have yet another card that I made last weekend at Susie's event and that is also one of this week's Cards in the Mail.  This card features the retiring In Color Just Jade and the Hand Penned Designer Series Paper which is unfortunately sold out.

I absolutely love the Heart & Home Doilies and have probably used them more by turning them over to use the white side than I have the colored side.  This is such a great layout to use over and over and since you switch out colors and designer series paper the cards all look different.

Stamps: On The Horizon
Cardstock: Just Jade (retiring),  Mint Macaron, Basic White
Designer Series Paper: Hand Penned (retiring)
Ink: Just Jade (retiring)
Accessories:  Flowers For Every Season Combo Pack (retiring),
2020-2022 In Color Square Gems (retiring),
Heart & Home Doilies, Mini Glue Dots,
Stampin' Dimensionals

Today after physical therapy my new knee and I are going on our first overnight stamping adventure.  I am meeting a friend and we are traveling to Wisconsin for a weekend Girl's Retreat.  My bags are packed and I have several stamping things to work on as well as my stitching if I decide I need to sit and elevate my leg.  It sure does feel good to be back to doing what I love!!

Every day is a gift . . . make the most of the gift you have been given today!!

Inspired Thoughts

Today I have used the Inspired Thoughts stamp set along with the retiring Beauty of the Earth Designer Series paper to make this card to share with you.  This is another card that I made at Susie's event and that is also one of this week's cards in the Mail.

Again, there are many layers on this card but they are small pieces of designer series paper so that you can get a lot of cards out of one 12" X 12" piece.  The Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folder add a nice touch and give the card some more dimension.  I really like the way she has used the bough punch to bring out a similar image in the designer series paper.

Stamps: Inspired Thoughts
Cardstock: Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Basic White
Designer Series Paper: Beauty of the Earth (retiring)
Ink: Mossy Meadow
Accessories:  Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folders,
Everyday Label Punch (retiring), Label Me fancy Punch,
Bough Punch, Elegant Faceted Gems,
Stampin' Dimensionals

As soon as  I am done posting this John and I are out the door for an appointment for his legs.  They are doing pretty well, but we have to go back periodically for them to be checked.  Hopefully, I will be able to get some stamping done when we get home this afternoon.

Every day is a gift . . . make the most of the gift you have been given today!!

Happy & Heartfelt

Today I am sharing another one of the cards I made this weekend at Susie's event.  It was also one of this week's Cards in the Mail.  It uses products from the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog so you still have plenty of time to get these for yourselves.

The Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper is one of the prettiest flower papers I have seen in quite some time.  You can use a small strip of paper but still have quite an impact.  Add a sentiment and a little bit of bling and you are good to go!!

Stamps: Happy & Heartfelt
Cardstock: Old Olive, Pool Party, Basic White
Designer Series Paper: Flowering Fields
Ink: Old Olive
Accessories:  Thanks & Hello Embossing Folders, Double Oval Punch,
Pool Party Sheer Ribbon, Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels,
 Stampin' Dimensionals

Today is going to be a rather low-key day after the busyness of the last few.  Physical therapy this morning and supper with a friend this evening with a lot of resting in between.  I started working on my stamping paperwork yesterday that I have put off since the end of February so that just might get finished this afternoon.

Every day is a gift . . . make the most of the gift you have been given today!!

Cup of Tea

Today I have another sneak peek for you of a treat holder that I made for last night's New Catalog Open House.  I used the Cup of Tea stamp set, the Teacup Dies, and some of the new Tea Boutique Designer Series Paper.

The Tea Boutique Designer Series paper is a 6" X 6" paper.  For this treat holder, I needed a 4" X 6" piece.  I am using the 2" piece that I cut off for another set of cards that I will share later.

Inside each treat holder was this piece of deliciousness!!  If you have not tried these little Brownie Delights you really need to!!  I found two different flavors . . . these almond brownie ones and also a chocolate brownie one.  Both are equally delicious!!

Of course, I had to make one in each of the five new In Colors!!  I think they turned out pretty cute.  I had seen these on Pinterest when I was browsing for ideas for the Tea Boutique Suite.  They made the perfect thank you for coming to the Open House.

Stamps: Cup of Tea (new)
Cardstock: Basic White
Designer Series Paper: 2022-2024 In Color 6" X 6", 2022-2024 In Color Glimmer Paper
Ink: Sweet Sorbet (new)
Accessories:  Teacup Dies (new), Layering Circle Dies,
2022-2024 In Color Baker's Twine Pack, 2022-2024 In Color Matte Dots,
Mini Glue Dots,
Stampin' Dimensionals

Yesterday's busy day went pretty well, although I was definitely tired by the end of the day.  There is not much on the agenda today other than picking up from last night's Open House and making a trip to Kalona to order my new glasses.  I found a couple of frames I really liked yesterday, but could not see well enough with my eyes dilated to make a decision.  Luckily today is their Kalona office day so I can just run over and choose which one I like and get them ordered.

Every day is a gift . . . make the most of the gift you have been given today!!

Happy Stamping!!

Cup of Tea

Are you ready for a sneak peek of some products that will be in the new Annual Idea Book and Catalog?  I have used one of the new In Colors, Sweet Sorbet, and a new stamp and die set from the Tea Boutique Suite to make this card to share with you.

This is one of the cards that everybody will be making tonight if they come to the New Catalog Open House.  The new In Color Sweet Sorbet pairs very nicely with Blushing Bride, which are the colors I have used here.  All of the new items will be available starting on May 3rd.

Stamps: Cup of Tea (new)
Cardstock: Sweet Sorbet (new), Blushing Bride, Basic White
Designer Series Paper: 2022-2024 In Color 6" X 6", 2022-2024 In Color Glimmer Paper
Ink: Sweet Sorbet (new)
Accessories:  Teacup Dies, Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder,
Baker's Twine Essentials Pack, Basic Pearl Jewels,
Mini Glue Dots,
Stampin' Dimensionals

Today is going to be a busy busy day . . . probably one of the busiest since surgery.  I have a physical therapy appointment this morning, an eye appointment that had to be rescheduled this afternoon, the New Catalog Open House from 5-7 this evening, and then family book club after that.  This is like a busy pre-surgery schedule . . . sure hope I have the energy!!

Every day is a gift . . . make the most of the gift you have been given today!!

Slim Sayings

Today I am sharing one of the cards that I made yesterday at the stamping event that my friend, Susie, hosted.  She had a ton of cute cards for us to make and made my planning for Cards in the Mail this week very easy.

This graduation card would be super simple to customize to your school colors, just by changing the color of the stars.  The gold stars worked perfectly for me since Mid-Prairie's school colors are black and gold.

Stamps: Slim Sayings
Cardstock: Basic Black, Bumblebee, Basic White
Designer Series Paper: Pattern Party (retiring)
Ink: Memento Black
Accessories:  Starlit Punch, Metallic Pearls (retiring), Mini Glue Dots,
Stampin' Dimensioonals

Yesterday was a great day of stamping.  My knee held up quite well, and even though I got tired I made it to the end of the day making all of the projects.  I did sleep quite well last night and got a slow start to the day today, but that is okay.  Today is going to bring cardstock cutting for both tomorrow's Cards in the Mail and also the New Catalog Open House.  And I am sure there will be quite a lot of rest and baseball for today as well.

Every day is a gift . . . make the most of the gift you have been given today!!

Plentiful Plants

Today I have used the Plentiful Plants stamp set along with the retiring coordinating paper, Bloom Where You Are Planted, to make this card to share with you.

I took the piece of designer series paper and cut it diagonally both ways to get the four triangles.  I then flipped two of them over to get a different pattern.  Again . . . .this is a great way to use up the designer series paper that you might have laying around.  I must say I am really going to miss the Tasteful Labels Dies when they retire in about a week.  If you don't have yours yet you might want to get them ordered.  They are on sale as well!!

Stamps: Plentiful Plants
Cardstock: Basic White Thick, Gray Granite, Basic White
Designer Series Paper: Bloom Where You Are Planted (retiring)
Ink: Just Jade (retiring)
Accessories:  Tasteful Label Dies (retiring),
Just jade & Gold 3/8" Braided Ribbon (retiring),
Genial Gems (retiring), Mini Glue Dots,
Stampin' Dimensionals

Woohoo . . . . my new knee and I are off on a stamping adventure today.  I am spending the whole day stamping with friends at an event that Susie is hosting.  I hope my stamina, as well as my knee, hold out for all day . . . but if not . . . at least it is a start!!  And I can always just sit and visit if I get tired!!  Because you know . . . I do like to talk!

Every day is a gift . . . make the most of the gift you have been given today!!

Forever Fern

Today I have used the stamp set, Forever Fern, with some retiring designer series paper, Beauty of the Earth, to make this card to share with you.

This is another one of those cards that you can make from the little scraps of designer series paper that you have laying around your stamping area.  You could do as I have done and use two that are the same and one different, or all three could be different.  All three could actually be the same too.  The same layout will give you three totally different looks depending on the paper you use.  I have very rarely used this mesh ribbon, but it sure works nicely with this card.  It is one of the ribbons that is carrying over to the new Idea Book and Catalog so I may just need to pull it out more often.

Stamps: Forever Fern
Cardstock: Misty Moonlight (retiring), Basic White
Designer Series Paper: Beauty of the Earth (retiring)
Ink: Misty Moonlight  (retiring)
Accessories:  Layering Circles Dies, 1 1/2" Metallic Mesh Ribbon,
Blue Adhesive Backed Gems (retiring),
Stampin' Dimensionals

Another day . . . another physical therapy appointment . . . hopefully some stamping this afternoon.  Although, since it looks cold and rainy outside a blanket and a good book might be calling my name!!

Flowing Flowers

Today I have used the stamp set, Flowing Flowers, from the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog and the retiring Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper to make this card to share with you.  I may always keep this stamp set in my stash just because of this one sentiment!!  I love it . . .  cards are much better than a text!!

I am not very good at mixing and matching patterns no matter if it is in card making or putting together outfits.  However, this Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper makes it very easy to do . . . .they all coordinate with each other so it doesn't really matter which patterns you choose, they all look great!!  Pick another solid coordinating color and you are good to go!

Stamps: Flowing Flowers
Cardstock: Basic White Thick, Night of Navy, Basic White
Designer Series Paper: Sweet Symmetry
Ink: Night of Navy
Accessories:  3/8" Denim Ribbon, Mini Glue Dots,
Stampin' Dimensionals

Yesterday ended up being a pretty productive day!!  All retired product is off my shelves and in boxes awaiting my summer garage sale.  All new product is nicely arranged on my shelves awaiting some use!!  I feel like that can finally happen now that everything has a home.  My kitchen counter is also cleaned off from orders that are all bagged and awaiting pick up on Monday night.

Happy & Heartfelt

Today I have used the Happy & Heartfelt stamp set, from the January-June 2022 MIni catalog, and the retiring designer series paper, Expressions in Ink to create this card to share with you.  It is one of this week's Cards in the Mail.

If you have not used or seen this Expressions in Ink Designer Series paper then you are certainly going to want to get some before it retires in two weeks.  The photo certainly does not do it justice as it is absolutely beautiful in person.  The gold flecks running throughout the paper just add to its overall beauty.

Stamps: Happy & Heartfelt
Cardstock: Basic White Thick, Magenta Madness (retiring), Basic White
Designer Series Paper: Expressions in Ink (retiring)
Ink: Magenta Madness (retiring)
Accessories:  Stitched So Sweetly (retiring), Holiday Rhinestones (retiring),

Yesterday ended up being a good therapy day and also just a good day in general.  I told John last night that I think I felt about as good as I ever had since surgery.  Let's hope that continues today!!

Lovely You

Who would have ever thought that the stamp set, Lovely You, would have a sentiment that would go with the In the Wild Designer Series Paper?  When I saw this card while browsing around, I knew it would be a perfect Cards in the Mail card.

There are many patterns in the pack of paper that you could mix and match to make a variety of thank you cards!!  Isn't it great when the paper does all of the work for you??

Stamps: Lovely You
Cardstock: Evening Evergreen, Basic White
Designer Series Paper: In The Wild (retiring)
Ink: Evening Evergreen
Accessories: Holiday Rhinestones (retiring),
Stampin' Dimensionals

This weekend was kind of a lost weekend!!  Not much was happening except resting and sleeping!  I guess I must have needed the rest because I sure did sleep a lot!!  Hopefully today I can get back on track with accomplishing something besides physical therapy!!

On The Horizon

Today I have used the stamp set, On The Horizon, and the coordinating paper, New Horizons, to make this card to share with you.  I saw this card on a site I follow, Flowerbug's Inkspot.

With some strategic cutting you can actually get 4 pieces of New Horizons Designer Series Paper out of each of the 6" X 6" pieces of paper in the package.  I am so glad that the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder is carrying over to the 2022-2023 Annual Idea Book and Catalog.    It adds a lot (subtle, but a lot) to any card you choose to use it on.

Stamps: On the Horizon
Cardstock: Petal Pink, So Saffron, Basic Black, Basic White (Inside)
Designer Series Paper: New Horizons
Ink: Memento Black
Accessories:  Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder, Sailboat Buildr Punch,
Stampin' Dimensionals

I made my first trip to a bigger store yesterday to pick up a prescription for John.  By the time I parked and got into the store and walked around a little bit and got back to my vehicle, I had walked over 3/4 of a mile.  On a normal day that would not seem like much, but yesterday it seemed like quite an accomplishment.  We shall see what today brings.

Happy & Heartfelt

Today I have used a mini catalog stamp set, Happy & Heartfelt, to make this card to share with you.  I have also used the All Together Designer Series Paper which is available only while supplies last.

I am really going to miss both the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder when they retire in a couple of months.  I would have to say they have been very heavily used and will probably stay in my personal stash of retired items, at least for a while.

Stamps: Happy & Heartfelt

Designer Series Paper: All Together
Ink: Memento Black
Accessories:  Stitched So Sweetly Dies (retiring),

Another day, another physical therapy appointment, and maybe some errand running.  I have to pick up a prescription for John in Iowa City so depending on how the rest of the day goes I may try to do that this afternoon.

I did manage to sort through my stamp sets on my shelves and get the retired ones pulled and the new and returning stamp sets organized.  It took me a little longer than usual and I did it in bits and pieces but it is done.  I would like to tackle paper and embellishments today so we shall see how that goes!!

Celebrating You

Today I have used the stamp set, Celebrating You, from the 2022 January-June Mini catalog, to make this card to share with you.  I have found myself needing a lot of thank you cards and this one fits the bill nicely.

Even though the dry embossing with the Meadow Moments Embossing Folder does not show up all that much, it just gives it a little bit extra pop.  And although you can't really see it in the photo, I used Wink of Stella on the inside of the word wonderful.  Just a little extra sparkle.

Stamps: Celebrating You
Cardstock: Petal Pink, Misty Moonlight (retiring), Basic White (inside)
Designer Series Paper: Hand Penned (retiring)
Ink: Misty Moonlight (retiring)
Accessories: Meadow Moments Embossing Folders (retiring),
1/8" Cotton Ribbon Combo Pack, Wink of Stella,
Stampin' Dimensionals

Yesterday's outing to take John to the eye doctor was a success.  I will admit I was one tired person when we got home.  I sat down in my recliner to listen to the Cubs and I think I was asleep before my feet even got elevated.  A little over a three-hour nap seemed to be just what I needed.  I did manage to get the bulk of my Stampin' Up! boxes unloaded and the stuff put away so John could take the cardboard to the curb for trash day today.  Other than that, not much got accomplished yesterday!  Hopefully, today will be a little more productive.

Every day is a gift . . . make the most of the gift you have been given today!!

Inspired Thoughts

Today I have used the stamp set, Inspired Thoughts, and the beautiful designer series paper, Symbols of Fortune, to create this sympathy card to share with you.

Even if you do not care for the oriental nature of some of the papers in this packet, the reverse side is absolutely awesome!!  Add a little ribbon and a sentiment and you are good to go.  This tag die from the Meadow Dies might actually be my new favorite sentiment piece.

Stamps: Inspired Thoughts
Cardstock: Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, Basic White
Designer Series Paper: Symbols Of Fortune
Ink: Evening Evergreen
Accessories:  Meadow Dies, Soft Succulent 1/2" Satin Shimmer Ribbon,
Stampin' Dimensionals

Physical therapy is already in the books for today and it is only 8:00.  John has an eye appointment this morning so we changed the time for today so I would be able to take him.  I am sure I will be one tired person when I get home!!  A nap may be calling my name this afternoon.

Best Year

Today I have used a LOT of retiring products to make this card to share with you.  The retiring Best Year stamp set has a lot of great sentiments, that like the title says, will take you through the year!!

The In Good Taste Designer Series Paper is great for making guy cards.  There are so many patterns that you can mix and match.  The Tailored Tag Punch is one I am really going to miss when it retires at the end of the month.  I know I use it all the time.  Be sure to get yours today before they sell out!!

Stamps: Best Year (retiring)
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Bumblebee (retiring), Gray Granite

I have scheduled some kind of outing every day this week to try and build up some stamina.  It is a lot easier to be out and about if you have a purpose.  Today I am meeting some friends for lunch and probably a lengthy visit.  The other goal I have for today is to get all of the Stampin' Up! boxes unpacked that have accumulated in the last three weeks.  I have looked through some of them, but actually unpacking and putting things away has not been done.  Wish me luck with that!

Daffodil Daydream

Today I have used the stamp set, Daffodil Daydream, to create this Easter card to share with you.

This card has a lot of layers and uses dies from several different die sets, but I am pretty pleased with the overall look.  I did stamp the sentiment before I ran the white cardstock through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine.  I had the card all finished without the dry embossing and decided that it needed just a little something more.  I am certainly going to miss the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder when it retires at the end of the month.

Stamps: Daffodil Daydream
Cardstock: Basic White Thick, Basic White, Mango Melody
Ink: Memento Black, Mango Melody
Stampin' Blends:  Granny Apple Green Combo Pack,

Accessories:  Stylish Shapes Dies (Sneak Peek), Beautiful Shapes Dies, Daffodil Dies,
Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder (retiring),
 Matte Black Dots,
Stampin' Dimensionals

Although it might be a little windy today, I am hoping it is warm enough to sit outside for a little while and get some fresh air.  Right now the sunshine looks very inviting through my bay window, but I have a feeling it is still a little chilly outside.  Here's hoping for warmer temperatures this afternoon.

Biggest Wish

Today I have used the stamp set, Biggest Wish, and the retiring designer series paper, Expressions in Ink, to make this card to share with you.

The Expressions in Ink Specialty Designer Series Paper is a package of paper you will want to get for sure before it retires for good.  It is so awesome and as you can see, does all of the work for you in making beautiful cards.  This layout and paper could be used for almost any occasion.

Stamps: Biggest Wish
Cardstock: Basic White Thick, Polished Pink
Designer Series Paper: Expressions in Ink
Ink: Polished Pink
Accessories:  3/8" Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbon,
Artistry Blooms Adhesive Backed Sequins

Independence . . . . a wonderful thing!  I am actually meeting my friend, Luetta, for lunch in Kalona today.  Not far . . . but an outing nonetheless.  I am looking forward to a change of scenery from my living room or the physical therapy office.  Luckily the weather has decided that it is going to cooperate.  It might not be super warm, but at least the sun is shining and it is not snowing or raining!!

Flowering Tulips

Today I have again used the Flowering Tulips stamp set and the coordinating paper, Flowering Fields, to create this card to share with you.  I saw this card on a site I follow, Flowerbug's Inkspot, and knew that I wanted to include one like it in this week's Cards in the Mail packets.

This paper once again is doing all of the work for you.  For a while I thought the purple flowers were my favorite in this pack, then I moved on to the pink flowers, but the more I work with these orangish tulips I think they may be my favorite.

As you can see, this card is a funky fold that shows off both sides of the designer series paper.  It opens similar to a matchbook with the front flap catching under the sentiment piece.

Stamps: Flowering Tulips
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Evening Evergreen, Basic White
Designer Series Paper: Flowering Fields
Ink: Evening Evergreen
Accessories: Beautiful Shapes Dies, 3/8" Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon,

Today brings more physical therapy, more baseball, and a trip to Washington to pick up my Hy-Vee Aisles On-Line grocery order.  That way I don't have to walk the grocery aisles, they can load it for me, and John can unload the groceries when I get home.  Easy peasy!!!

Happy & Heartfelt

Today I have used the Happy & Heartfelt stamp set with the absolutely amazing Abstract Beauty Designer Series Paper to make this card to share with you.  Both of these products are in the January-June 2022 Mini catalog and will be available until the end of June.

The gold embossing on the sentiment just adds to the blinginess (if that is a word) of this card.  The splashes of gold metallic in the designer series paper are much prettier in person than it shows in this photo.  To save some of the gold foil paper, I cut the Beautiful Shapes large gold circle out of the center of the layering mat.  Since you cover it up anyway, it is the perfect way to save paper.

Stamps: Happy & Heartfelt
Cardstock: Basic Black, Blushing Bride, Basic White, Gold Foil
Designer Series Paper: Abstract Beauty
Accessories:  Beautiful Shapes Dies, Versamark,
Metallics Stampin' Emboss Powders, Heat Tool, Classic Matte Dots,
Stampin' Dimensionals

Like I told my son-in-law earlier today . . . just because I can drive does not mean I am going to go somewhere all the time or every day.  I am certainly content to stay home on this cold and windy day!  My blanket, my stitching, and opening day of baseball are calling my name today!!

Flowering Tulips

Today I am using another one of the awesome sentiments from the Flowering Tulips stamp set to make this card to share with you.  If you haven't checked out the sentiments in this set you certainly need to!!

This is such a simple card with the Heart & Home Doily turned around so the white side shows.  I really do miss the doilies we have had in the catalog in the past.  Hopefully, there will be some new ones in the future.  This card also shows another great way to use up some of the designer series paper you have laying around.  When cutting it into smaller pieces it certainly does go further!!

Designer Series Paper: Hand Penned (retiring)
Ink: Evening Evergreen
Accessories:  Heart & Home Doilies, Genial Gems (retiring),

Woohoo . . . .driving went better yesterday than I could have hoped for!!  There is something about regaining your independence that makes you look at things differently!!  I am even going to drive myself to physical therapy today!!

This afternoon I am hoping to work on an order for some Easter cards that came in the other day.  The only way to build up stamina is to keep on keeping on!!  I am planning on taking short breaks though in between what I am doing so I don't get too tired!!!

Flowering Tulips

I am so so glad that the Flowering Tulips stamp set is carrying over into the new 2022-2023 Annual Idea Book and Catalog.  I am however sad that the designer series paper, Flowering Fields paper is not!  You had better get some while you still can!!

This card is again a funky fold . . . .z fold card.  I love the different looks that the funky folds can give cards.  Other than that is it is a pretty straightforward . . . .designer series paper doing all of the work . . . card!!

Stamps: Flowering Tulips
Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Pool Party, Basic White
Designer Series Paper: Flowering Fields
Ink: Poppy Parade
Accessories:  Layering Circles Dies, Brushed Brass Butterflies,
Stampin' Dimensionals

Today will be an exciting day as I am attempting to drive myself to a fun appointment this afternoon to get my nails done.  It is no secret to anyone who knows me that I love my nails, and having to take them off for surgery was sad.  So . . . .it totally makes sense that the first place I would go when given the clearance to drive would be to have them done again.

And . . . .

my preorder for the catalog will be here later this afternoon.  My friend, Luetta, is going to come over I think and we will open the boxes and ooh and aah over all of the new goodies!!  A good day to be sure!!

Every day is a gift . . . make the most of the gift you have been given today!!
