Friendly Seagulls
Today's card is yet another one that we made at Stampin' Sisters Demo Day a couple of weeks ago. It is also one that made yesterday at Make-it-Monday.
At first this set did not appeal to me at all, but as I saw more and more cards made with it I knew I had to have it. It is a Sale-a-Bration set and is FREE with a $60 purchase so it was easy to decide to get it. I started this card by stamping my seagulls and then putting a mask over them to I could brush on the sky and the sand. I lost the bird legs as I was brushing the color on the cardstock, but it didn't make a difference as you color in the feet with a Wild Wheat Stampin' Blend and it covers up any brown you might have where the feet are.
I don't normally stamp on the inside of my cards and leave it out when making a card at a retreat but this one just had to have the bird and sentiment on the inside.
Today I am starting the next round of vaccines by getting my first Shingles shot. I have a feeling I will come home and lay down and either read or fall asleep. When I got my original Shingles vaccines it did not bother me at all other than a sore arm but this time around could be entirely different. I hope not but I am prepared for it if it is.
Every day is a gift . . . make the most of the gift you have been given today!!
Happy Stamping!!
