Embossing Folder Techniques
Last night was the first Thursday night of the month, so it was Technique/Stamp Club. One of the techniques we worked with was what I call Embossed Foil Elements.

This technique is kind of messy because for some reason it seems that black embossing powder goes everywhere!!! Maybe since it is black you can just see it better, but you will want to be sure and clean your stamping surface after using it!! For this technique, I put a light layer of Versamark on the flat side (side with the words) of the folder. I then ran it through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and then used the black embossing powder. The powder will adhere to the recessed parts of the cardstock.
Cardstock: Basic Black, Mossy Meadow, Brushed Metallic

Today is going to be a day of little to no activity so that I can be good and rested up for an early morning tailgate and my first trip back to Kinnick Stadium in three years. To say I am excited about being able to go to the games this year would be an understatement!!
