Kindest Expressions

Today I have used one of the awesome sentiments from the Kindest Expressions stamp set to make this card to share with you.  

Creating unique card designs with the gingham paper is effortless because it has only two patterns that complement each other perfectly. You receive forty pieces in total, with eight pieces of each color, allowing you to produce multiple copies of any card. Let's Go Shopping

Today I am sharing one of the cards that I made last month at Suite Demo Days.  It uses the Les Shoppe Suite Collection.  This is not a stamp set and dies that I own so I am glad to have an example to share with you.

This die set contains numerous small dies that cut out images found in the designer series paper. I have utilized this paper multiple times. One side of the paper complements the stamp and die set while the other side showcases geometrical patterns. Personally, I really like the patterned side of the paper.

Cheerful Daisies

Hello! I wanted to share a card that I made using the Cheerful Daisies stamp set and coordinating dies. I also used Pebbled Path, which is one of the 2023-2025 In Colors.  Hope you like it!

Inked & Tiled

Today I have used the Inked & Tiled stamp set along with the coordinating products, Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper, and the Inked & Tiled Punch Pack.  This is a card I saw on my friend, Susie's, website.  This was one of the cards that everyone stamping with me on Monday night got to make.

I used to frequently utilize the technique of coloring directly onto a stamp with Stampin' Write Markers. However, since I have started using Stampin' Blends for coloring, I seem to have forgotten about it.  I now remember how much I like the outcome of this technique and intend to use it more often.

Inked & Tiled

Today I have used the Inked & Tiled stamp set and the coordinating punches to make this card to share with you.

I don't usually stamp or emboss directly onto designer series paper, but I'm really happy with how it turned out.  I also used the other Inked & Tiled Punch to make the sentiment tag.  I just chopped off the cross portion of it.  Love a new way to use a punch.

Gorgeously Made

Today I have used the Gorgeously Made stamp set to make this card to share with you.  This is one of the cards everyone stamping with me on Monday night got to make.

I have been using a strip technique to create several cards lately, and if you were to see my scrap box, you would understand why. To start, I used Basic White Thick as my base and another quarter sheet of regular Basic White cardstock. On the right-hand side of the cardstock, I attached a one-inch strip of Calypso Coral, Lost Lagoon, and Pretty Peacock. After that, I tore the paper close to the strips. Finally, I stamped the image onto the strips using Pretty Peacock Ink and added a double Linen Thread bow to finish off the card.

Kindest Expressions

I made a card using the Kindest Expressions stamp set and wanted to share it with you. With the upcoming hot weather, I felt that sending some sunshine would be fitting. 

Although it may be difficult to discern from the photo, the sentiment on the card is actually embossed. I first applied Versamark ink to the stamp, followed by Crushed Curry ink. I then covered it with Clear Embossing Powder and heat set it, which contributes to the shimmering effect of the card when viewed in person.

Today, I have appointments for myself and my vehicle. While I have a fun appointment, my Rav needs servicing. I plan to be back home early in the afternoon and will focus on putting away everything from our recent camping trip. I arrived home on Sunday and immediately started preparing for Make-It-Monday, so all our belongings are still in the kitchen, waiting to be organized.

Beautiful Balloons

Today I have used a birthday sentiment from the Beautiful Balloons stamp set.  I saw this card on a stamping site I follow, Stamp With Peggy.

The Nested Essentials Dies are a must-have product!  They are perfect for sentiments and images alike.  I love the layering effect when you can use the same shape!!  Add some embellishments and you are good to go.

Sweet Citrus

Today I have used the stamp set, Sweet Citrus, along with the Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series paper, the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder, and Stylish Shapes Dies to make this card to share with you.

I started with a piece of Copper Clay cardstock for the base of my card. I cut a piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock that measured 5″ x 4″ and embossed it using the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder. Then I cut it into three 1″ strips which gave me (3) 1″ strips and one 2″ strip. I then adhered all the strips to the front of the card.  I cut a piece of Copper Clay cardstock and layered it with a piece of Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the front of the card. I stamped the sentiment using Pretty Peacock ink onto Basic White cardstock using the Sweet Citrus stamp set. I cut it out using the Stylish Shapes Dies and then cut a larger circle out of Pretty Peacock cardstock. I adhered the two pieces together, added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the upper corner and adhered it to the front of the card.

Layering Leaves

Today I have used the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper, the Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder, and the Stylish Shapes Dies to make this card to share with you.

I started with Night of Navy cardstock for the base of my card. I cut two pieces of Fresh Freesia cardstock. Then I cut a piece of Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper and adhered it to the larger piece of Fresh Freesia (the left side panel). I cut a piece of Night of Navy cardstock that I embossed using the Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder and then adhered it to the smaller piece of Fresh Freesia. I adhered both pieces to the base of the card. I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of Basic White cardstock using Night of Navy ink and then cut it out using the Stylish Shapes Dies. I cut a larger circle out of Fresh Freesia cardstock and adhered the sentiment to the front. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the front of the card. To complete the card, I added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside.

Darling Details

Today I have used the stamp set Darling Details along with the beautiful flowered paper from the Masterfully Made Designer Paper pack.

For the first card, I started with a piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock for the base of my card. I cut two pieces of Basic White cardstock. I adhered one to the inside of the card and ran the other one through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine using the Twisted Rope 3D Embossing Folder. Before adhering it to the front of the card, I cut a piece of Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper and adhered it to the front of the embossed paper.   I cut another piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock and adhered a piece of Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper to the front. I then adhered it to the front of the card, at an angle. I stamped the sentiment onto Basic White cardstock using Pretty Peacock ink using the Darling Details stamp set.  I cut it out using the Stylish Shapes Dies. I cut a larger circle, using these same dies, out of Berry Burst cardstock and adhered the sentiment to the front. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the front of the card. To complete my card, I added three Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Layering Leaves

Today, I used an awesome sentiment from the Layering Leaves stamp set. If you don't already have the set, you should definitely consider getting it.

I used a Flirty Flamingo card base and added a layer of Basic White that was embossed with an embossing folder from the Basics 3D collection. Then, I added two small strips of designer series paper that were layered onto Flirty Flamingo. The sentiment piece was die-cut from the Timeless Arrangements die set. Finally, I added some Basic Rhinestone Jewels to finish the card.

Circle Sayings

Today I am sharing a card that I made at the Suite Demo Days last month that showcases the beautiful Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper and the coordinating Gorgeously Made Dies, 

This designer series paper can be busy, but pairing it with the right colors can tone it down. Hints of Berry Burst peeking through the strips of designer series paper do just that.

Circle Sayings

Today I am using the Circle Sayings stamp set along with the coordinating 2 3/8" Circle Punch.  This is a card that I saw on my friend, Susie's, site.  

I love the funky fold and the colors.  Once you get the angle of the designer series paper figured out the rest is simple stamping and assembling.  I do need to remember to use Wink of Stella more often!!

Cheerful Daisies

I used the Cheerful Daisies stamp set and the new In-Color, Moody Mauve, today. This color reminds me of my parents; my mom loved it while my dad referred to it as "dirty pink". Personally, I think it goes well with the Early Espresso shown in my project.

I created a stencil using the Deckled Rectangle Dies to brush color onto a piece of Basic White cardstock. It took me a couple of tries as I was heavy-handed with the brush initially, resulting in the first few attempts coming out too dark. But now, I'm happy with the outcome.

Stamped With Love

I made a card using the Stamped With Love stamp set and would like to share it with you. Have you ever created a card and only wanted to send it to someone who would truly value it? If that's the case, then this stamp set is perfect for you.

To create this card, I used a Bubble Bath card base and added a layer of Old Olive. The Basic White layer was embossed with a Basic 3D Embossing Folder and attached to the front of the card. The Designer Series Paper is from the Delightfully Eclectic package. I stamped and colored an envelope, then carefully cut it out and affixed it to the card.

Today I have used the Circle Sayings stamp set to make this card to share with you.  This is one of the cards that everyone will be making tonight at Make-It-Monday.

I have used the paper strips technique to make the background layering piece.  I have used this a couple of times before.  You can see those cards here and here.  This is a great way to use up those strips of paper you may have laying around your stamp table!!

Layering Leaves

I'd like to share a card that I recently came across on my friend Susie's, website. It's actually one of the cards included in this week's Cards in the Mail packets.

I am not sure there is a better card color combination than simple black and white.  I love it!  This paper from the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper pack is perfect for that.  The Flat Adhesive-Backed Pearls add just the right amount of sparkle and shine.

Inked and Tiled

Today's card is one I saw on my friend, Susie's site.  It is also in the week's packet of Cards in the Mail.

I finally got my order that had the Nested Essential Dies in it.  I am not sure how I missed getting them when I placed my first new catalog order, but I did.  it seems like I had to wait forever for them to get here.  I have a feeling they will be getting a LOT of use.  I love the layered look they provide.

Best Wishes

Today I have used another sentiment from the stamp set, Layering Leaves, as well as one of the designs from the Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper pack.

At first glance, I thought this paper was hideous, but as I looked at it more I realized it just needed to be used in small pieces and toned down a bit with the coordinating cardstock.  This fun fold opens from the top and bottom, exposing the area for writing your message.
