Flowering Meadow

I have a lot of cards to show you from past stamp classes and this is one of them.  It features the beautiful Velvet Meadow Designer Series Paper.

I started with a card base of Daffodil Delight.   I strategically cut my designer series paper to get this strip.  I added it to a piece of Peaceful Pine cardstock and then added it to the card front.  The sentiment and some sequins completed my card.  Who wouldn't want to receive a card to make them smile in return?

Enjoy this next to last day of beautiful weather before the rain sets in again.

Autumn Fields

Believe it or not I am actually posting on my blog again.  It took me a while to get back to it but I hope to keep it up now. Today's card is one we made a couple of classes ago, using the fall stamp set, Autumn Fields.

Fall is such a beautiful time of year and I have been concenetrating on making Fall cards for stamp classes.  Because I was feeling so overwhelmed with everything I have given up my Cards in the Mail for a while.  I am not sure if I will start them back up after the first of the year or not.

I chose Early Espresso for the base of my card and then picked a design of paper from the Autumn Opulence package of designer Series Papers.  I knew I wanted to use the flowers as a focal point si picked ine I though coordinated fairly well.  I embosssed the sentiment with Gold Embossing Powder so that it would show up well.  I adhered all of the layers of the card and it was done.
