Heartfelt

Sometimes simple is best!!  At least I think so with the Valentine's card that we will be making next Monday night at a special Valentine's Stamp night.

Peaceful Moments

Can you say awesome???  I can't seem to say that enough!!  This designer series paper is exactly that!!  Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!!  This super simple card is great with just a simple sentiment.

I think everyone stamping last night at Make-It-Monday thought this paper was pretty great as well, if their comments were anything to go by!!

Heartfelt

Somewhere in all of my surfing for card ideas, I came across this Valentine's Day Card that I loved!!  I especially love the idea of the heart being punched from the designer series paper.  It has a foil sheen to it. So pretty!!

Peaceful Moments

I know I sound like a broken record but Stampin' Up! really knocked it out of the park again with the designer series paper in the January-June 2020 Mini Catalog.  The Peaceful Poppies paper is no exception.

There is not a lot of stamping on this card, but it is really striking in person. The photo does not do it justice.

I was housebound yesterday . . . but not by choice!!  They city was taking a tree down in our parking and I could not get out of the driveway as the big bucket truck was blocking the way.  After they finished our tree they took two trees down in the neighbor's lawn across the street, so we were stuck in the house for quite a while.  So, what better thing to do than to stamp.  I will have plenty to share with you in the days to come!!

Bonanza Buddies

I was on the fence about the Bonanza Buddies stamp set as I don't have a lot of children to make cards for. I went ahead and ordered it and I am glad I did.

This is a super simple birthday card, using Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper.   My only problem on this card was making sure that I had my balloons going the right way.

Seriously The Best Project Kit

Stampin’ Up! has a great new kit in the January-June 2020 Mini Catalog called Seriously The Best Project Kit.  It coordinates with the Seriously The Best stamp set that is sold separately.  I put my kit together and I love it!

The kit has almost all of the products needed to make this set of 16 cards.  Just add the Seriously The Best stamp set, Terracotta Tile and Pretty Peacock ink pads and the adhesives and you’re ready to go.  The cards are full-size A2 cards with coordinating preprinted envelopes!

The kit also includes this pretty storage/gifting box that all 16 cards and envelopes fit perfectly inside!

I put all of the cards together yesterday while watching the Hawkeye basketball game.

I made the cards exactly as they are in the kit.  But you could totally add other sentiments to make the cards more applicable to you.  I am planning on offering a special stamp night using this kit . . . Seriously The Best.

Today, I am meeting Luetta for lunch and then we are going to spend the afternoon stamping with Susie.  I am looking forward to spending the afternoon stamping with friends!!

Have I mentioned how awesome the designer series paper is in the January to June 2020 Mini Catalog?  If not, let me tell you it is absolutely gorgeous!!

Yesterday ended being a very busy day!!  John wanted to go to Hobby Lobby to get some beads for a project he is doing so I decided to grocery shop while he was doing that.  It took longer than I had anticipated so it was early afternoon before we got home.  I had about 45 minutes to work in my stamp room before I left again.  I decided I wanted to start walking again so I did that before going to Kalona for an appointment for my shoulder.

There is nothing on the agenda today so hopefully I can spend the majority of the day stamping!!

Dressed to Impress

What better card to show on New Year's Day than one that shows two things I love!!  My mom always said that you should do on New Year's Day what you want to continue to do the rest of the year.  I made this card last November while stamping with friends at Susie's when she provided some make and takes from the Spring Mini catalog.  So this card represents two of my favorite things . . . stamping with friends and shoes.

I certainly can't wear high heels like this anymore but there was a day when I taught all day every day in shoes like this!!  Shocker, I know!!
