Fields In Bloom

Today's card features the Fields in Bloom Stamp Set with a beautiful greeting from the Unbounded Love Stamp Set.  I skipped over this stamp set many times when I was first looking at the catalog and had to see it in action to truly appreciate it.  This is one of the cards that the Stampin' Sisters provided for us to make at Demo Days in Wisconsin.

At first glance this photopolymer stamp set looks like it would be a pain to line up but it is actually super simple.    The Petunia Pop flowers fit perfectly in the flowers on the Shy Shamrock rolling hills.

As you can see this is a fun fold card---a variation of the z-fold card that is so popular.  Start with  4.25″ x 11″ piece of cardstock and score at 1.5″ & 5.5″.  Fold the card base in half and then fold the right edge to the left.  Then adhere a 4″ x 4.25″ piece of Shy Shamrock to the 1.5″ panel, making a very long card base.  Adhere pieces of Shy Shamrock Designer Paper on either side of the fields of flowers.

Today is going to be a day filled with friends, conversation, and stamping.  I am sure I will come home with a ton of ideas.
