Winter Woods

The inspiration for this card came from one I got as a swap when I went to Illinois.  The original card had no sentiment and a different color as the card base layer.

I thought it would be perfect as a sympathy card, so added the sentiment and changed up the base color of the card.

Our trip to Adel was made yesterday through the raindrops.  The only time it really rained was while we were eating lunch and getting ready to go to the car.  Jake was nice enough to go get the car and pull it up under the awning when we were getting ready to leave.  He had no more than got there when it quit raining all together.  So he got soaked, but we stayed nice and dry.  It seemed like a short ride home as we listened to the Cubs on the radio.

We are supposed to go to a flea market this morning in Iowa City, but are holding off just a little but to see what the weather will do. It's not that I need any more fleas, but it's always fun to look!!

Every day is a gift . . . make the most of the gift you have been given today!!

Happy Stamping!!
