Calming Camilla

Yesterday was the first Thursday of the month so that meant it was Technique/Stamp Club night.  We used the Calming Camilla and a White Wash technique to create this card.

When making this card we found that a little ink and a not very juicy Blender Pen work the best.  You need to pick up a little ink and color in the area that you want whitewashed.  The more you move the white ink around the lighter it will get, or at least that was our experience.

Stamps: Calming Camilla
Cardstock: Soft Succulent, Basic White
Designer Series Paper: Heart and Home
Ink: Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen
Accessories:  Scalloped Contour Dies,
White Craft Ink Refill, Blender Pens,
3/8" Evening Evergreen Open Weave Ribbon,
Iridescent Rhinestones, Mini Glue Dots,
Stampin' Dimensionals

Today is another one of those days with nothing on the schedule.  I think it would be a good day to finish up the cards from last night and maybe get started on a swap for an event I am attending the first weekend in March.  I need to make around 50 swap cards so I guess I had better get started.

Every day is a gift . . . make the most of the gift you have been given today!!

Happy Stamping!!
