Carols of Christmas

I have today and tomorrow yet to share Carols of Christmas cards then I will move on to something new.  There are just so many possibilities with this stamp set.

The copper foil is so pretty and is just the thing this card needed along with the copper embossed star swirl in the background.

Stamps: Carols of Christmas, Star of Light
Cardstock: Very Vanilla Thick, Fresh Fig, Very Vanilla, Copper Foil
Ink: Fresh Fig
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Big Shot,
Versa Mark, Copper Embossing Powder, Heat Tool,
1/4" Copper Trim, Stampin' Dimensionals

We finished up our road trip yesterday with a visit to the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake.

The ballroom was something I had always heard about, but had never visited. It was really quite interesting and much bigger than I had anticipated.  I could just visualize it full of people, a lot of them on the dance floor.

We finished out the morning just sitting by the lake listening to the waves.

A great couple of days all within three hours of home.  I am sure there are many more places just like this in Iowa that would make great road trips.

Every day is a gift . . . make the most of the gift you have been given today!!

Happy Stamping!!
